4. Stylus operations
The main display of your phone is a touch screen, which is a faster and more intuitive way of
navigating through lists and menus. The touch screen is automatically enabled when your use
the stylus pen supplied with your phone.
Basic operations

In the menu screens, double tap a menu/icon to enter/activate it. Apply reasonable
pressure, as if you are writing on paper.

In the selection fields, which is marked by

, tap the left/right arrow sign to make
your selection.

When the screen content is longer than one page, tap the scroll bar at the right side of
the screen to turn pages.
Enter text
In handwriting recognition mode, you can enter Chinese characters, English letters, numbers
and symbols (including punctuations). The on screen keyboard allows you to enter text using
the stylus pen, just like you would do on a PC keyboard. Using the stylus pen is equivalent to
pressing the actual keys of the phonel.

Perform functions

Tap the on screen function icons to perform the corresponding functions.

The two touch icons above the touch screen are designed especially for stylus operatons:
the one represented by a green circle filled
will let you validate your choice or
operation, the other one represented by a red cross
will enable you to cancel the last
action or go back one menu level.
3 In phone number input screen (for dialing), tap any point in the input area to access an
on screen keyboard for enering a phone number.
