3. How to Replace the Front Cabinet
Disassembly Method
CAUTION

Disassembly MUST be performed in a CR
(Clean Room).
Make sure to perform disassembly operations by
following “2.Disassembly Method”, until Fig. D4
beforehand to remove the CBA units, speakers, etc.
Note:
Turning over the unit requires two workers and
a wide flat table.
1. Hold the four corners of the LCD Panel Assembly.
2. With the X-PCB side down, slowly lift and tilt the
unit until it is in a vertical position.
3. From a vertical position, turn the top of the unit
toward the other side.
4. Slowly put the LCD Panel Assembly down.
5. Hold the Cell and remove the Front Cabinet along
with the Grand Tape.
Note:
Do not apply excessive force to the Cell.
Doing so may break the Cell.
There is glue remains from the Grand Tape, on the
removed Cell. Wipe the remains as well as
possible.
When replacing the Front Cabinet, the inner
adjunctive equipment such as Cell Cushion must
also be replaced all together.
