GUIDE Plus+ Messages
From time to time important messages about the GUIDE Plus+ system or
programming will be sent to inform you of changes, specials or broadcast
information which may interest you.

Tap the
GUIDE/TV
button on the remote to display the GUIDE Plus+ system
program grid.

Tap the cursor right to highlight the word
Messages
.
The
Messages
screen appears.

Tap the cursor down to highlight a message line.
A brief description will appear at the top of the screen.

Tap the OK button to view the message page full screen.
(
Tap the cursor up/down to scroll through the story, left/right to view the
next or the previous message pages.

Tap the OK button again to return to the list of messages.
GUIDE Plus+ Record/Watch programs

Tap the
GUIDE/TV
button on the remote to display the GUIDE Plus+ system
information grid.

Tap the cursor up/down to highlight a program you wish to Record or to
Watch.
Note: A timed recording can also be made from any of the Sort screens. This is
the easiest way to record Movies, Sporting Events or Children’s programming.

Tap the action button green on the remote to set a timer recording.
Tap the action button blue on the remote to set the TV to watch the
highlighted program at its designated time and channel.
Tap the action button green again and repeatedly to change the record or
watch frequency: once, daily or weekly.
Note: Multiple recording or watch reminders can be set unless there is a time
conflict. If a conflict should occur, the screen will let you know and ask if you
would like to enter the Schedule to remove the previously scheduled show.
Tap the action button

to move to the Schedule screen to review the
information stored. Tap the action button
blue
to cancel a current program
setting. Follow the instructions on screen.

one time recording access of all available movies
within your viewing area.
Enjoy the easy of one button recording with GUIDE
Plus+. Any movie, sporting event, or children's program
can be set to record.
With the program or movie highlighted on the GUIDE
Plus+ screen, simply press the GREEN Action button on
your remote. The program information is set to record
the selected program or movie. All you have to
remember is to put a blank video tape into your VCR.
