This section describes commonly-encountered
issues and accompanying solutions.
Communication issues 10�1
The TV does not communicate with
external interactive terminal:
Select the appropriate communication •
source. See Section 6.4 Set communication
source for details.
Check that the card slot is enabled. See •
Section 4.6.2 Access CAM services for details.
Picture issues 10�2
Picture performance not at its optimum
when using VGA or EXT 3 source
Do not connect a VGA input and a EXT 3 •
input to the TV at the same time.
Other issues 10�3
The character 'F' appears on the TV
screen�
This means that the TV is currently in factory
mode.
Press and hold the • MENU button at the
side of the TV or a few seconds. This will
reset the TV to normal operation.
No respond from TV when using guest
mode remote control�
This means that security has been set to
HIGH .
Select • CONFIGURATION >
SECURITY . Set SECURITY to
STANDARD .
