Please use the supplied AC-DC adapter to charge the battery.
An alternative charging method is connecting the instrument to PC
via the USB cable.
5.12 Connecting to a Computer
Insert one connection plug of the USB cable into the USB socket on
the top side of main body, and insert the other plug into the USB port
of the PC.

6 Maintenance & Servicing
6.1 Impact Device Maintenance
After the impact device has been used for 1000--2000 times,
please use the nylon brush provided to clean the guide tube and
impact body. When cleaning the guide tube, unscrew the support
ring first, then take out the impact body, spiral the nylon brush in
counter-clock direction into the bottom of guide tube and take it
out for 5 times, and then install the impact body and support ring
again.
NEVER USE LUBRICANT INSIDE TUBE!
Release the impact body after use.
6.2 Instrument Maintenance Program
If the gauge is reading more than +/- 2 HRC points, it may be a
sign that the impact body is worn and must be replaced.
If the gauge powers on normally but will not display test results,
its time to replace the cable.
