Overview
The EdgeXperience Capture Service
is a cloud service (SaaS) that connects a managed scanner to the EdgeXperience
Capture Service and saves scanned document images to a designated location.

User Types
There are three types of EdgeXperience Capture Service users.
- SuperAdmin
Super administrators create administrators and configure the EdgeXperience Capture Service.
- Administrator
Administrators configure jobs and users who use the EdgeXperience Capture Service.
- User
Users perform scanning jobs using the EdgeXperience Capture Service.
Before Using This Service

A Job is a collection of settings that allows users to scan documents from a scanner and save images to a
destination.
The settings such as scanning profile and save destination are configured in the job.
