Changing hot wedge (only for machines with hot wedge)
If the heating cartridges are defective or if the hot wedge is very worn, and optimum sealing
results cannot be achieved by re-adjustment, the hot wedge must be replaced.
Switch the machine off and let
it cool down!
Danger of burns if the hot
wedge is touched!

Remove lines

and
2

Loosen screw

●
Remove hot wedge
4
from its holder.
●
Place new hot wedge into position and
install it with screw
3
at the same
distance to the feed rollers as before.
●
Connect lines
1
and
2
.
When a new hot wedge has
been installed, this has to be
ground in.

Unscrew screws
