The machine may only be operated by personnel with the necessary training!
The operating staff is responsible for making sure that only authorized persons
are in the danger zone of the machine!

Heat-sealing principle
To achieve the best possible sealing results, certain requirements must be fulfilled
concerning the material and the machine setting.
The material used must be:
●
suitable for heat-sealing,
●
suitable for processing on the machine from the point of view of thickness and
properties.
The seam area of the material used must be clean.
The basic requirements for the heat-sealing equipment are:
●
correct operating temperature of the hot wedge or the correct hot-air temperature;
●
correct setting of the hot-air pressure, for machines with hot-air nozzle
●
correct positioning of the hot wedge to the roller gap, for machines with hot wedge;
●
correct selection of the feed rollers (silicon or steel);
●
optimum pressure of the feed rollers on the sealing material;
●
correct distance between the feed rollers (penetration depth adjustment) and
●
correct sealing speed.
All the settings of the heat-sealing device are always dependent on the material
used and the ambient temperature. As the individual operating parameters
influence each other, it is only possible to determine the best possible settings
by carrying out test sealings.
