User’s Manual Permobil M5 Corpus

Transporting the wheelchair

WARNING!

Securing the wheelchair in vehicles

The wheelchair may only be locked into position using a locking system
approved by Permobil or by tie-down straps.

Secure the wheelchair by tie-down straps through the brackets in the front
and the back, each marked with a yellow sticker. Do not attach the tie-
down straps to any other part of the wheelchair. Secure the tie-down straps
to the vehicle according to instructions for the restraint system in the vehicle.

Always make sure that the tie-down points on the transporting vehicle are
well-anchored.

Set the brake release on the wheelchair to locked position.
