Installing Your RamanMicro 300 . 67 

 

Moving the Instrument

 

 

WARNING 

The RamanMicro 300 spectrometer weighs about 20 kg. The 

RamanMicro 300 microscope module weighs about 20 kg. Two people 

are needed to lift the instrument. 

Please contact PerkinElmer for advice about removing the fiber optic cables that connect the 

spectrometer and microscope modules. If you need to ship your instrument you must use the 

original supplied packing materials to prevent damage to the system. 

When the instrument has reached its destination you should perform the calibration routines 

described in 

Calibration and Performance Verification SOPs

 on page 81.
