If installing on the side with the Rafter overhang, install the 2x6

lock at each end. Place on top of the Top

Plate and against the Rafter. Place the short ply of the

lock against the end of the Top Plate. Fasten with

Timber Lock Screws through pre-drilled holes. Place the Curtain Box up against the Top Plate and the 2x6

Block and in against the Post. Fasten with 3/8” Lags.

If installing on the side with the

Top Runner

overhang, install the 4x4x4 Glu-Lam Block

onto the outside of the Rafter. Align with the outside end of the Post and the bottom of the

Top Plate. Fasten to the Rafter with four Timber Lock Screws. Place the Curtain Box up

against

the Block and the Top Plate and in against the Post. Fasten with 3/8” Lags.
