CABINET INSTALLATION
STEP 1:
TOP RAIL
1.
Remove the air conditioner and top rail (G) from the
carton and place them on a flat surface.
2.
Align the holes in the top rail with those in the top of
the unit.
3.
Secure the top rail to the unit with three of the 3/8
inch short screws (D) as shown in the diagram below.
NOTE:
Higher side of the top rail is to be facing the
inside of the room.

STEP 2:
ATTACH SIDE ACCORDION PANELS
1.
Insert top and then bottom of right-hand accordion
panel to top rail and bottom guide on air
conditioner cabinet.

2.
Extend the right-hand accordion panel outward so
you can insert the first screw through the middle hole
of the accordion panel. Using #10 x 1/4 inch pan-
head Phillips Screw (C), screw accordion panel to
middle hole in air conditioner cabinet.
NOTE:
These (6x) Phillips screws (C) are required to correctly
attach accordion panel to the air conditioner cabinet.
3.
While the right-hand
accordion is still
extended, insert
the #10 x 1/4 inch
pan-head Phillips
screws (C) into the
top and bottom slots
of accordion. Screw
accordion to the top
and bottom holes
in air conditioner
cabinet.
NOTE:
Some accordion panels may have 2 slots at each
end. You will be able to see a mounting hole through the
correct slot.
4.
Slide accordion panel housing into guides as far as it
will go.
5.
Repeat the above steps for the left-hand
accordion panel.
STEP 3:
ATTACH FOAM
ADHESIVE
SEAL
Attach foam adhesive
seal (A) along the
bottom of th accordion
panel’s bottom guide.
STEP 4:
INSTALL CABINET INTO WINDOW
• Handle air conditioner gently.
• Be sure your air conditioner cabinet does not fall out
of the opening during installation or removal.
• The location where the power cord exits the air
conditioner should be no more than 4 ft from a
grounded 3 prong outlet.
• Do not block the louvers on the front panel.
• Do not block the louvers on the outside of the air
conditioner. If air is obstructed and/or deflected back
into the unit, the air conditioner’s compressor may
cycle on and off rapidly. This could damage the unit.

Do not install this air conditioner in
a window if the bolts do not make contact with the window sill.
