3. Connection
Position the stove and the gas cylinder on a level surface protected from the wind and far from inflammable materials. Always
use a pressure regulator standardised at 30 mbar. Connect the gas cylinder to the stove by means of a rubber tube that meets
regulations, a tube not more than 1.5m in length. Be certain to check the expiration date of the rubber tube (usually 5 years
from the date of manufacture). The rubber tube is fastened to the pressure regulator by means of special metal tightening
hose clamps. Connect the pressure regulator to the gas cylinder and make sure that the special washer has been set in its
proper housing. Never re-utilise the same washer after changing the gas cylinder: always replace the washer. Place the
cylinder as far from the stove as possible.
4. Use Conditions
Make sure the stove’s cock is closed. Open the gas cylinder’s cock. Press down on the stove cock you wish to use and rotate
it in an anticlockwise direction until it reaches the maximum setting. Proceed with the lighting of the stove by means of a piezo
or gas ignition device. Adjust the flame as needed. Do not move the stove while it is being used.
5. Shutting Down the Stove
Close the cock on the gas cylinder. Close the cock on the stove. Do not twist the rubber or let it come into contact with hot
parts. Wait for the stove to cool down before closing the cover.
Never tamper with the stove or the stove parts. In the event of a gas leak, close the cock on the gas cylinder first.
