Using the Self-timer

Use this mode when you want to be included in a group picture.
The picture is taken approximately ten seconds after the shutter release
button is pressed.
Z
Use this mode to avoid camera shake. The picture is taken approximately two
seconds after the shutter release button is pressed.
• Focusing may be compromised if you move the camera while the
self-timer lamp is blinking when taking still pictures.
•
Z
cannot be selected for default setting of
mode for the first time.
Select
Z
in another shooting mode and then switch the shooting mode
to

• In

(10 sec. Self-timer) cannot be selected.
• In

mode, recording will start after ten seconds (or two seconds).
• Press the shutter release button halfway while the self-timer is running
to stop the countdown. Press it down fully to restart the countdown.
