8.1.2 User Menu – Settings Screen
The basic settings are displayed in the order they are shown on the Settings screen:

8.1.3 Changing Basic Settings
For other settings and functions refer to Advanced Settings below.
OPTION SETTING VALUES DESCRIPTION
1 Scale 1–5, 10, 15, 25, 50, 75, 100,
125 … 950 Multiples of x. Changes the scale to adjust the sensor
sensitivity.
2 Smoothing 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60, 90, 900 Sets the number of samples used for the calculation of the
average output value (shown on the bar).
3 Alarm 2
(Early Warning alarm) Incr5 Percentage. Sets the threshold for the early warning alarm.
This value cannot be greater than Alarm 1.
If the alarm is set to 0, it is disabled.
4 Alarm 1
(High alarm) Incr5 Percentage. Sets the threshold for the high alarm.
Note: adjusting this alarm setting may affect Alarm 2; ensure
that the alarms are set at the correct level.
5 Timer 1, 3, 10, 30, 60, 300, 600 Alarm delay, in seconds.
6 4–20 mA Smoothing 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60, 90, 300 In seconds. Changes the number of samples used
for the calculation of the average output value for the
4–20 mA interface.
8.2 ENGINEERING FUNCTIONS
8.2.1 Advanced Settings

screen (see also Main Screens

8.2.3 Factory Reset
1. Open the Engineering screen (see Main Screens on page 22).
2. Select Option 5 then select the green tick to initiate the factory reset (or select the red Fail icon to cancel
the procedure).
The screen now displays System init…
3. When the factory pre-sets have been restored, the control unit will restart automatically.
