Chapter Three: Balloon Interface

Balloon help 

When moving the pen/mouse over any button for about two seconds, a concise 

explanation will pop up. If you do not want it, you can turn this function off.   

Homophone

Window Interface provides Homophone candidates, you can choose a pinyin method 

such as Zhu yin, Hanyu pinyin or Jyutping.

Sound

Pronounce the character in Mandarin or Cantonese immediately after recognition in 

Mandarin or Cantonese.

Add blank

If your Windows OS is Vista Home Premium or higher version, you may see

3.2.2 Chinese Recognition Setting

Click

 Recognition

 tag. You can choose 

the output characters, either in Traditional 
Chinese, Simplified Chinese or Traditional 
+ Simplified, no matter how you write 
Chinese characters, the recognition follows 
its set.

English application

Press backspace one time in Chinese software, it will automatically delete backward 

two bytes (one character in Chinese) while it will only delete one byte (half Chinese) in 
some English software. Please select this option when you use English software to avoid 
mistakes of candidate character correction.

Add black

If the lines do not aligned well with English software, please check this selection, so 

that it will automatically add a space to align up.
