2.1 Programming Gateway Station ID #

Each gateway that needs to send data to the main control panel must be configured with a
station ID number. Each Gateway uses this distinct ID number to identify itself to PT2000
Series Main Control Panel. All the Gateways on the network must have a unique station ID #.
That is no two gateways shall have the same Station ID. Since each gateway is a dual channel
the data transmitted to the main control panel in a 2 sensor data block format. Thus
detectors connected to Station1 would be identified as detector 1 and 2; for Station2
detectors would be identified as # 3 and #4 and so.

Thus for 24 Channel PT2000 Series control panel up to 12 Gateways can be installed on the
network.
