Configuration
There are 2 sensor connections on the Gateway that must be configured for proper sensor
type. The correct sensor type is necessary to activate on board Audio/Visual alarms as well as
identifying the sensor data to the main control panel.
The gateway firmware allows the use the select multiple sensor types that available, for
example, H2S , LEL , CO & SO2.
Next the alarm levels for each channel should be properly programmed. The unit has default
alarm levels set. However, user should verify and change the alarm levels as needed.
Note
Alarm levels programmed in the gateway are independent of the alarm levels programmed in
the 2000 series control panel.
3.1
Modify Channel Configuration
To set the Channel / Sensor type hold the magnetic wand to an internal magnetic switch
labeled as
SW-2
situated on lower left corner of the unit. The LCD will display two options
(one at time) to select from.
To select “
Setup Channels”
hold the magnet to SW-2 when this option is displayed.
The gateway will first display the current channel settings as follows:
The above illustrates Channel 1 is currently set to H2S sensor type. To change sensor type
hold the magnetic wand to SW-2 position and sensor type selection changes.
