ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (CONT.)

Professional Scales recommends that assembly is performed by
two people.
Warning: Do not drop scale, as this can permanently damage the load cells.
Caution: Do not insert the batteries into the display head until it is mounted onto
the scale.
1. Remove the scale platform/base from
the carton and place on a flat, level, and
dry surface. Locate the center handrail
and the load cell cable protruding from
the bottom of the right side. Feed the
load cell cable into the large center hole
of the right handrail mounting hole in the
scale base.
2. Position the center handrail over the left
and right mounting holes on the scale
base. Be sure not to pinch the cable.
Place the eight M8 washers (Part F) onto
the eight M8 1.25 x 20mm bolts (Part B)
and insert into the mounting holes on the
scale base, lightly tighten using the
included 5mm Allen wrench. Do not over
tighten.
3. Align the left and right side handrails with
the mounting holes in the platform. Place
the remaining eight M8 washers (Part F)
onto the remaining eight M8 1.25 x
20mm bolts (Part B) and insert into the
mounting holes on the platform. Lightly
tighten using the 5mm Allen wrench.
4. Align the left and right side handrails
with the holes on the front of the left
and right sides of the center handrail.
Obtain the two M10 1.5 x 40mm bolts
(Part A) and insert into the left and
right holes on the back of the center
handrail. Using the included 8mm
Allen wrench, fully tighten the two
M10 bolts and then fully tighten all
bolts starting from the top of the scale
down to the platform.
