Place the heater on a firm level surface free from obstructions, and at least 3 ft. (0.9 m) away
from any wall and any other objects such as furniture, curtains, plants or combustible material.
•
Plug into a grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet.
•
Your heater is equipped with a 3-position power switch:
•
Set the power switch to maximum (HI) for fast warm-up of a room. Once the room
temperature is comfortable, select a lower setting to save electrical consumption and to
prevent the room from becoming too warm.
•
Adjust the thermostat to maximum and select the desired power setting. Once the
room temperature is comfortable, rotate the thermostat counterclockwise till the heater
shuts off. The thermostat will now maintain the temperature by cycling the heater on or
off. During particularly cold weather, the low power setting may be insufficient to satisfy
the thermostat. Select a higher setting for these periods.
