Scrapping
Recycle any unwanted material,
do not throw it in the household
rubbish. All machines, accessories
and packaging must be sorted and left
at a recycling center and disposed of
in an environmentally friendly manner.
Save this manual
You will need these operating instructions for
safety, installation, operating instructions, parts list
and diagrams. Write your invoice number on the
inside of the front page. Put both your manual and
invoice in a safe, dry place for future reference.
1. Keep the work area clean. Messy areas invite
damage.
2. Consider the working conditions. Do not use
the tool in damp, wet or poorly lit places. Do not
expose to rain.
3. Keep children away. All children should be kept
away from the work area. Do not allow them to
handle tools or extension cables.
4. DO NOT LEAVE UNUSED ACCESSORIES. When
not in use, store the tool in a dry place to
prevent from rust. If possible, store in an area
out of the reach of children.
5. DO NOT FORCE TOOLS. It will make the job
both better and safer at the pace for which it
was intended.
6. USE THE RIGHT TOOL. Do not force a small tool
or accessory to do the work a larger industrial
tool would do. Do not use a tool for a purpose
for which it was not intended.
7. DRESS PROPERLY. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewellery. They can be caught in moving
parts. Protective gloves and non-slip shoes are
recommended when working. Use a hair net
to keep long hair away so that it does not get
caught in the machine.
8. USE EYE PROTECTION. Wear ISO-approved
safety goggles.
9. SAFE WORK. Use clamps or a screw to hold the
workpiece if possible. It is safer than using your
hands.
10. DO NOT STRETCH OVER THE MACHINE. Stand
steady with good balance at all times.
11. TREAT THE MACHINE WITH CARE. Keep tools
sharp and clean for better and safer
performance. Follow the instructions for
lubrication and replacement of accessories.
Inspect tool cords regularly and, if damaged,
have them serviced by an authorized service
centre. Keep handles dry, clean and free of oil
and grease.
12. AVOID ADJUSTMENT KEYS. Make it a habit to
check that alignment keys are removed from
the work surface before use.
13. BE ALERT. Look at the machine, use common
sense. Do not use tools when you are tired.
14. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Before using the
machine, carefully inspect any part that
appears to be damaged to determine that it is
working properly and can perform the
intended function. Check for adjustment of
moving parts, breakage of parts, assembly and
other conditions that may affect its function.
Every part that is damaged must be repaired by
an authorized service centre unless otherwise
stated in the operating instructions.
15. REPLACEMENT OF PARTS AND
ACCESSORIES. Only use identical spare parts
for service. Only use accessories intended for
use with this machine. Approved accessories
are available at Verktygsboden.
16. DO NOT USE THE MACHINE IF YOU ARE under
the influence of ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. Read
prescription warning labels to determine if your
judgment or reflexes are impaired while you are
taking medication. If in any doubt, do not use
the machine.
17. NEVER STAND ON THE MACHINE. Serious
damage can occur if the tool tips over.
18. KEEP PROTECTION IN PLACE AND IN ORDER.
Never use the machine unless all guards are
working properly.
19. NEVER USE A MACHINE IF ITS COVER OR ANY
BOLTS ARE MISSING. If covers or bolts have
been removed, replace them before use.
Maintain so that all parts are in good condition.
20. DO NOT LIFT too heavy pieces. Obtain help
when lifting tools and materials that are too
heavy for you to do it yourself. When
appropriate and whenever possible, use a
forklift.
21. WIPE UP SPILLS, ETC, TO NOT CAUSE ANY
SLIDE ACCIDENTS. Keep the floor clean and
free from all liquids and other spills that can
cause slipping. Check the material data sheet
for proper cleaning procedures.
