General safety instructions

When working with machines, the following points

should always be considered. Also observe the

safety regulations of the workplace and respect all

the laws, rules and regulations that apply where the

machine is used.
•  Clean often. Dust, waste and debris in a

workplace increase the risk of accident, fire and

explosion.

•  Do not work in dark or poor lighting.

•  Never store explosive or flammable liquids and

gases within the work area.

•  Keep children out of the work area.

•  Pay special attention to the machine’s warning

symbols.

•  Do not use the machine if you are tired or under

the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.

•  If necessary, wear protective equipment such

as respiratory protection, protective gloves,

hearing protection and goggles.

•  Wear suitable work clothes and non-slip shoes

for the purpose. Use hair nets if you have long

hair, do not wear jewelry or loose-fitting clothing

that can get caught.

•  Never let your habit of the machine lead to

carelessness.

•  Check that all guards are in place and in good

working order. Check that all machine parts are

intact and correctly mounted.

Safety instructions

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for

accidents and injuries to persons or equipment

caused by improper use. The electrical installation

must be carried out by an electrician with a license

for current work. Follow the installation, use and

maintenance instructions and warning texts in

this manual. Keep the manual in the vicinity of the

equipment at all times.

WARNING

•  Do not exceed the maximum permissible load

capacity (4000 kg).

Note

Read the user manual carefully before use. Make

sure all users read and understand this manual.

IMPORTANT

•  Observe the warning decals placed on the lift,

the vertical pillars and the electrical cabinet.

•  In the design of the unit, consideration has

been given to meet the safety requirements

that apply. If the lift is raised above a certain

height, a level switch is activated which then

stops the lift.

•  When the lift has reached the desired height,

lower so that the mechanical safety catches

engage and relieve the hydraulic cylinder.

•  When lowering the lift, raise so that the

mechanical safety catches are relieved, then

release the safety catches with the handle and

lower the lift.

General description

The lift is operated with an electro-hydraulic

system. The hydraulic pump delivers hydraulic

oil to the hydraulic pistons which raise the lifting

arms. The lift is equipped with safety locks that

lock automatically when the lift is raised. To

release these, there is a handle above the

electrical cabinet. Pull the handle down to release

the latches. Note that the lift must be raised from

the catches before they can be released. After

commissioning and with load, the wires will be

stretched and slightly extended. Then the leveling

and adjustment must be performed again.

Noise level

The sound level from the lift should not exceed 75

dB, but to protect your health, it is recommended

that a sound level detector be installed at your

workplace and that you use hearing protection.

Warning signs

Warning signs that are clearly marked on the lift

are intended to avoid danger when the lift is used

incorrectly. The signs must be kept clean and must

be replaced if they are damaged or fall off. Please

read carefully and understand the meaning of each

sign and memorize them for future activities.

•  The vehicle must be switched off when it is

hoisted up in the lift.

•  Make sure that no people are in the work area

when raising and lowering the lift.

•  Do not go under the lift until the safety catch

has engaged.

•  It is not permitted to stand or climb on the lift

or vehicle, or to place tools, equipment or other

objects on them.

•  Electrical cabinets and wiring must be

 protected from water.
