Replacing the batteries
Caution
– Only AAA / NiMH batteries may be used.
– The frequency and duration of use of your hand-held transmitter will dictate how often you need to replace the batteries.
– Make sure the battery poles are correct! Insert the batteries as illustrated.
– Leaking battery fluid may damage the hand-held transmitter.
– All traces of leaked battery fluid must be removed from the compartment with a soft cloth.
New batteries can then be inserted.
– Do not insert new and old batteries together.
– Do not insert different types of batteries (e.g. NiMH and NiCd).
Correct battery disposal
the iD code on the battery and in the documentation indicates that the battery must not be disposed of
together with normal household waste.
If the battery is marked with the chemical symbols Hg, Cd or PB, the mercury, cadmium or lead content of the battery is
above the limits stipulated by EC Directive 2006/66.
Incorrect battery disposal can cause damage to human health and the environment. End-of-life batteries must be dispo-
sed of separately; they can be deposited free of charge with dealers or municipal collection points.
