There is an unusual
smell.
1 Remove from the battery immediately.
2 Contact the fire service immediately.
3 Observe all the warnings in Section 2 Safety.
Fumes are emitted from

No data is shown on the
monitor when the On-Off
button (battery) is
pressed.
The battery charge level may be
insufficient.

Charge the battery.
Is the power switched on?  Press the On-Off button (battery) to switch the power on.
Is the battery charged?
 If the battery is fitted to the pedelec and is being charged, it
cannot be switched on. Interrupt charging process.
Is the connector fitted to the power
cable correctly?
1 Check that the power cable connector has not been
disconnected.
2 Contact your specialist dealer if this is not the case.
A component may be connected
which the system is unable to
recognise.

Contact your specialist dealer.
The gear level is not
shown on the display
screen.
The gear level is only shown if the
electronic gear shift is used.
1 Check whether the power cable plug has been disconnected.
2 Contact your specialist dealer if this is not the case.
The settings menu cannot
be opened while you are
pedalling.
The product is designed in such a way
that the settings menu cannot be
opened if the system detects that
someone is riding the pedelec. This is
not a malfunction.
1 Stop the pedelec.
2 Change settings when stationary only.
The time display is
flashing "0:00".
The battery in the on-board computer
has come to the end of its service life.

Replace on-board computer battery.
