Introduction
The Peerless/Morel mini-monitor kit was designed with the goal of producing a “big” sound in a compact pack-
age. The woofer was selected for its clean midrange and good excursion capabilities, which allow it to produce
some of the best bass from a small driver. The tweeter is famous for its ability to produce very clean and clear
high frequencies, without being harsh or fatiguing.
Combined via a 2nd order acoustic crossover, these two drivers blend seamlessly to produce a full, rich sound.
The rolloff of the tweeter and woofer were specifically tailored with the use of notch filters to achieve a true 2nd
order slope.
