EuroSys® 115 & 118
Thank you for choosing Peavey’s EuroSys 115 or 118 sub woofer enclosure as part of your sound reinforcement system. We
take great pride in the design and manufacture of our units and you can expect top performance and reliability. The EuroSys
115 and 118 enclosures have been rigorously tested before packing and dispatch to your dealer. A built in crossover is fitted to
optimize performance under variable conditions. The nominal impedance of the EuroSys 115 and 118 is 4 ohms.
Hi Pass output facility:-
We have equipped the EuroSys 115 and 118 with a high pass output socket. This provides a filtered output signal for operating
a satellite enclosure with a minimum impedance of 4 ohms. The design of the crossover ensures the total load presented to the
power amplifier is never less than a nominal 4ohms.
Satellite pole facility:-
We have equipped the EuroSys 115 and 118 sub woofer enclosures with a satellite pole facility. Suitable satellites for pole
mounting are the EuroSys 700 or 800. Do not use larger enclosures as this may affect the stability of the system. Suitable pole
is the PS-B, part number #15900380.
Connection:-
The EuroSys 115 and 118 sub woofer enclosures are equipped with 2 x combo/jack Speakon®-compatible sockets. One
socket is for input the other for the hi pass out connection. The two combo/jack Speakon®-compatible sockets allow use with
either 6.3mm jack plugs and or Speakon® compatible plugs. When using a Speakon compatible plug wire the positive to 1+
and the negative to 1-.
Grille removal:-
In the unlikely event that access is required to the driver the grille needs to be removed by releasing it from either of the
enclosure sides. There are no grille fixing screws. Lay the enclosure on its back and using two small screwdrivers or similar
hand tools carefully pushed into the grille holes near the opposite opposing corners, ease the grille towards you. The grille will
give allowing its removal. Do not attempt to prise or lever out the grille as this will result in damage to the paint finish on both
the grille and the enclosure.
