Uni-Lock Beater

Beater Angle Adjustment
The beater angle can be adjusted by loosening the Key Bolt
on the Uni-Lock Beater Angle Cam and swinging the beater
to the desired angle. Simply re-tighten the Key Bolt to
secure the angle. The desired angle can be easily marked
with the Gauge on the Cam (Fig.3).
Spring Tension Adjustment
To adjust spring tension, loosen the Upper Nut then adjust
the Lower Nut to the desired spring tension. Counterturn
the Upper Nut and Lower Nut to secure the spring tension
(Fig.5).

The Beater Setting Stopper preserves the height setting if the
beater is removed when transporting the pedal.

Beater Setting
Insert the Quad Beater into the Beater Holder Link with the
desired face toward the bass drum head until it stops
against the Beater Setting Stopper, and tighten the Key Bolt
with a Tuning Key (Fig.2-A). Make sure that the Beater
Setting Stopper is flush against the Beater Holder Link
(Fig.2-B). To adjust the height of the Quad Beater, loosen
the Allen screw on the Beater Holder Link with the provided
hexagonal wrench. Set the Quad Beater to the desired
height and re-tighten the Allen screw (Fig.2-C).

Footboard Angle Adjustment
The footboad angle is adjustable by loosening the Key Bolt
as shown (Fig.4) and sliding the Drive Connector of the chain
or belt to one of three positions and re-tighten the Key Bolt.
