The FX-05SC can be easily monitored through its LED indicators. Please
follow the troubleshooting steps below to solve any problem you may
encounter during installation or implementation of the FX-05SC.
1. Verify system power first:
●
Be sure the power is turned on for the switch and all attached devices.
●
Power off the switch, wait for five seconds, and turn it on again.
●
If the power indicator is not lit after power on:
Check the power source and attached cable. If the problem cannot be
resolved, please contact your local PCI reseller for assistance.
2. Perform the following tests:
●
Please check whether the RJ-45 cable is functional. Replace with another
working cable, and see whether the condition can be improved. (Be sure
to use the correct cable type: for 100BASE-TX, you must use Category 5
cables.)
●
Use another port on the FX-05SC. If a link can be established this way,
the first port is faulty. Please contact your local PCI reseller for
assistance.
●
Make sure that all devices are connected to the network.
●
Please ensure that the network adapter cards installed in the workstations
or other devices attached to the hub are in good working condition.
●
Verify that Port 1 and Uplink port are not used at the same time.
