Instructions
1. Place the device on a plain surface.
2. Fill the round-bottom flask and insert it into the heating mantle.
3. Enable power supply. The red lamp will light up.
4. Turn the rotary switch until you reach the desired temperature. The green lamp will light up.
5. The brightness of the lamp depends on the temperature you set.

Additional advice
1. The surface of the heating mantle is oiled. Therefore, please do not insert the round-bottom flask
immediately when first using the device. Heat up the device first and switch it off as soon as it emits
white smoke. Switch it back on as soon as the smoke disappears. Now you can operate the device
normally.
2. Please make sure to fill the round-bottom flask before inserting it into the heating mantle.

Disposal
For the disposal of batteries, the 2006/66/EC directive of the European Parliament applies. Due to the
contained pollutants, batteries must not be disposed of as household waste. They must be given to
collection points designed for that purpose.
In order to comply with the EU directive 2012/19/EU we take our devices back. We either re-use them or
give them to a recycling company which disposes of the devices in line with law.
