Hardware Settings
Configuring the BIOS
This section discusses how to change the system settings through the BIOS Setup menus.
Enter BIOS Setup
The BIOS is the communication bridge between hardware and software. Correctly setting the BIOS
parameters is critical to maintaining optimal system performance.
Refer to the following procedure to verify/change BIOS settings.

Power on the computer.
2.
Press the
Del
key when the following message briefly displays at the bottom of the screen during the
Power On Self Test (POST).

After entering the BIOS mode, please refer to the motherboard user’s manual (PCVA310_MB user
manual.pdf)

We do not recommend changing the default BIOS settings. Incorrect settings may cause
instability or damage to the system.
