How are the ports on the communication box, like the cash drawer, configured? 

The communication ports on the E800 do not need to be configured.  The USB, RS232, LAN, and Cash 

Drawer ports are plug-and-play.

What type of maintenance, if any, needs to be performed on the E800 printer? 

Clean the print head and paper roll confetti, if any, on a weekly basis.

How should the E800 be cleaned? What cleaner should be used? 

Use a dry cloth to wipe the E800 on a regular basis.  PAX recommends cleaning the E800 every 2 to 3 

days.

How are SIM cards and Micro SD cards installed?  How are they configured?

Power off the E800 and remove all power.

Open the port cover over the TF (Micro SD) and SIM slots.
