ATTACH BATTERY
Slide the charged battery
into the
battery slot until it clicks into place.
Caution!
Only use the batteries de-
scribed in technical data.
SWITCHING ON

Pull back the release switch
and
hold it.

Press the on/ off switch
to start
the tool. Release the release switch.
SWITCHING OFF
Release the on/ off switch
to turn off
the tool.
RELEASE BATTERY
For removal press the battery release
button
and pull out the battery.

CUTTING TECHNIQUES
Hold the hedge trimmer at an angle of
5°–10° to the hedge.
Cut the hedge from bottom to top, sides
first.
Cut the top in an oscillating movement,
advancing slowly.

SET CUTTING ANGLE
Push the angle adjustment button
Depending on the work site, set the de-
sired cutting angle from -30° to +90°.
Caution!
Make sure the angle ad-
justment button has safely locked
in.

CHARGE BATTERY
Plug the charger (not included) into a
suitable wall socket.
Caution!
Only use the battery
charger specified in technical data
to charge the battery.

Slide the battery
(not included) onto
the charger and check its LEDs:
Red:
Charging
Green:
Battery is fully charged
Flashing Red:
Battery is defective
Flashing Green:
Battery is too hot/ cold
