b). Release the handle (11a) to lock the
locking handle bar (11) in place
(Fig. 12).
NOTE:
Adjust the sweeping/
clearing direction before
operation.
2 Castors and roller brush
Check regularly the degree of wear of the
roller brush. Change the height of the roller
brush by adjusting both castors. The roller
brush shall touch between 5 and 10cm of
the surface when the product is parked.
a). Press the handle (11a) of the locking
handle bar (11) downward and turn it to
align the roller brush (10) in a straight
position. Release the handle to lock the
locking handle bar in place.
b). Loosen the locking pin with ring (16a)
and remove it with the upper
sleeves (16b) from the stub axle (16d).
Remove the stub axle (Fig. 14).
c). Remove the lower sleeve (16c) from the
stub axle (16d). Remove the required
amount of plastic rings (16f) to adjust
the height of the roller brush (10).
NOTE:
Ensure that there is
always the same amount of top
and lower plastic rings on both
stub axles.
d). Attach the lower sleeve (16c) onto the
stub axle (16d).
e). Insert the stub axle (16d) into the
tube (16e). Attach the upper sleeves
(16b) and the removed plastic rings
(16f) on the stub axle. Secure the castor
assembly (16) with the locking pin with
ring (16a) (Fig. 15)
f). Adjust the second castor assembly (16)
in the same way.
3 Drive control lever
a). Squeeze the drive control lever (1) to
engage the wheel drive (Fig. 16).
b). Release the drive control lever (1) to
stop the wheel drive (Fig. 16).
WARNING!
Be careful when
squeezing any of the control
levers – Danger of crushing
hand.
4 Roller brush control lever
a). Squeeze the roller brush control
lever (3) to engage the roller brush drive
(Fig. 16).
b). Release the roller brush control
lever (3) to stop the roller brush drive
(Fig. 16).
5 Recoil starter
a). Pull on the recoil starter handle (21) to
start the engine (Fig. 17).
WARNING!
Do not suddenly
release the recoil starter handle!
Always allow it to return under
controlled tension! Do not pull
out the recoil starter beyond the
red colour band at the end of the
recoil starter!
6 Throttle lever
WARNING!
Release the control
levers and ensure the roller
brush as well as the tyres stand
still before adjusting the engine
speed!
a). Move the throttle lever (13) towards the

" symbol to increase the engine
speed (Fig. 18).
b). Move the throttle lever (13) towards the
"
" symbol to decrease the engine
speed (Fig. 19).
