Connect the chain

Determine length of chain

needed to achieve desired
fixture height.
(To remove excess chain
section, use plier to bend link
open.)
Weave the fixture wires through
the chain
(FF)
, collar and
canopy (DD).
Connect one chain
(FF)
to the
loop and the top loop on the
mounting strap unit (AA) using
the two loop locks (EE).
Thread the fixture wire and
fixture ground wire through the
threaded pipe on the mounting
strap unit (AA).
6. Attach the canopy (DD) to the
mounting strap unit (AA) by
inserting the top loop into the hole
of canopy (DD), then secure with
the collar.

7. Install bulbs (not included).
See relamping label at
socket area or packaging for
maximum wattage allowed .
Turn on the power at fuse or circuit box.
5. Pull out the source wires from
the outlet box. Make wire
connections using wire
connectors (CC) as follows:
Connect the smooth wire
(marked) from the fixture to
the black wire (hot) from the
power source.
Connect the ribbed wire
(unmarked) from the fixture
to the white wire (neutral) from the power source.
Attach the fixture grounding wire to the mounting
strap unit (AA) with the green grounding screw.
Then, depending on local code connect it to the
house grounding wire with the wire connector (CC).
Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.

8. Unscrew the bottom finial (E) from
the bottom assembly unit, then
secure the threaded pipe into the
coupling by using the hex nut.
Attach the frame (B) to the dome
(A) and attach the cap (D) to the
frame (B) by aligning and
inserting the threaded pipe into
the open hole on the cap (D), then
secure it with the bottom finial (E).
