INSTALLATION
1.1. If the house ground wire is copper (option A) fix the copper (ground) wire from the junction box to the mounting
plate (A) by wrapping it around the green (ground) bolt (FF), then connect it to the fixture copper (ground) wire with a
provided twist cap connector (EE). Alternatively, you can connect both copper (ground) wires together directly with a
provided twist cap connector (EE). If the house ground wire is green (option B) splice the green (ground) wire (1/2in
strip) to expose the copper wire within, then loop the exposed wire to the green (ground) bolt (FF) on the mounting
plate (A). Then attach it to the copper (ground) wire from the fixture using a twist cap connector (EE). Connect the
fixture neutral (white) wire to house neutral (white) wire and the fixture black (live) wire to the house black (live) wire.
Use provided twist cap connectors (EE) to make all connections. Stuff wires into the junction box.
1.2. Thread the nuts onto bolts (DD) and insert into mounting plate (A). The length of exposed bolt can be increased
or decreased by adjusting the position of the nut. Ensure length of bolt (DD) is sufficient to pass through the fixture
and be secured by the provided cap nuts (BB) in later step.
1.3. Ensure the bolts (DD) stay in the mounting plate (A). Install the mounting plate (A) to your junction box with bolts
(CC).
1.4. Install the fixture backplate (B) to the mounting plate (A) by inserting the bolts (DD) through the mounting plate
(A) and fixture backplate (B), then use the cap nuts (BB) to tighten the fixture backplate (B). Ensure that cap nuts
(BB) are securely tightened.
1.5. Carefully install a bulb (not supplied) into the socket (base bulb is E26, and maximum bulb wattage is 60W).
1.6. Carefully insert the glass diffuser (C) into the frame (D), and secure it by bending the 2 metal clips on top of the
frame over the glass diffuser (C).
1.7. Install the frame (D) onto the lamp with the bolts (AA).
1.8. Apply a clear silicone sealant (not supplied) around the outside perimeter of the fixture backplate (B).
