2.TIME/TEST
The TIME/TEST knob is used to switch into the TEST mode and to
set the ON time that the lamp will stay on after motion is detected
while in the SECURITY mode. Switching to TEST Mode. A photocell
is built into the TIME/TEST knob to automatically shut off the light
during daylight hours. In TEST mode the photocell is turned off so
the light can come on during daylight hours for testing the coverage
area. To enter TEST mode, turn the knob fully counterclockwise so
that the pointer is aimed at the word "TEST". To leave test mode,
turn the knob clockwise away from the TEST position. Note: When
the TIME/TEST knob is set to TEST and the MODE SELECT knob is
set to SECURITY, the light will come on after motion is detected and
will then shut off after 5~10 seconds of ON time. When the TIME/
TEST knob is set to TEST and the MODE SELECT knob is set to DUSK
to DAWN, the light will remain on all the time and the coverage
area cannot be tested. Setting the ON time: To set the amount of
ON time, simply turn the knob clockwise away from the TEST setting.
The maximum ON time after motion stops is 10 minutes with the
knob turned fully clockwise.

WALK
-TESTING THE
C
OVE

TO test the a
r
ea
covered by the motion detector, first switch to TEST mode
by turning the TIME knob to the TEST position. Make sure
the Mode Select knob is pointing to SECURITY. Walk in the
area to be tested. When your motion is detected, the light
will come on. Move to a different spot in the area to be
tested and stop all motion until the light turns off(about 5
~10 seconds). Start walking again to see if your motion will
activate the light.
