You will need the following tools to assemble the heater:
10MM Socket for Brackets and Wheel Kit
11MM or 7/16” Socket for Ballast Plate Securing
Nuts
12 MM Socket for Reflector Attachment Nuts
Standard Phillips Head #2 or #3 Screw Driver
Channel Locks or Pliers-
Minimum 1 ½” Capacity
Adjustable Crescent Wrench or Socket Driver
Soapy Water Solution for leak testing
Do Not Use
any Teflon tape or other sealants when connecting heater head to hose or hose to
regulator. These are “Flare to Flare” connections and will seal without the need for Teflon
tape or pipe dope.
The use of tape or compounds may compromise the seal.

The proper assembly of this heater requires basic mechanical skills. Proper
assembly is the responsibility of the installer. Any and all repairs or service should be done by a
qualified gas appliance technician.
Assembly Instructions
The majority of your
Patio Comfort
Outdoor Patio Heater product is already assembled, tested, and
pre-fired for your safety and convenience. We have shipped the heater head inside the pre-assembled
lower base to protect the heater head in shipment and to simplify assembly.
1. Open the carton and remove the top packing, the decorative tank cover and parts boxes.
2. Lay the carton on its side to more easily pull the unit out and stand it upright. Fig #1 and 2.
3. Lift up the foam pad and remove it over the tank cage.
4. Remove the head carton from the tank cage and set it aside for now.
