2.3 Safety standards
The Extractor Fan has been designed and constructed in accordance with the relevant laws on accident
prevention with reference to both mechanical and electrical parts. The safety systems it is equipped with
are designed to protect the operator during the device's phases of use.
2.4 residual risks
The Extractor Fan has been designed and constructed with appropriate measures to ensure operator
safety.
However, care should be taken during maintenance and adjustment procedures on the Extractor Fan; all
too often, the familiarity arising from frequent contact with the Extractor Fan causes operatives to forget
or underestimate any risks.
PASTORE & LOMBARDI cannot be held responsible for injury caused by maintenance carried out without
the care required by this particular operating condition.

The residual risks presented by the Extractor Fan can be overcome by complying strictly with the re -
commendations provided by the signs in the risk zones and this manual.
