3.2 Ammutolimento da linea di muting
Quando viene rilevata una condizione di
precedenza sull'apposito terminale ( MUTE IN )
del connettore multivia del modulo vengono
ammutoliti (impostazione di default) i segnali
inviati al bus di miscelazione stereofonico
(bus del canale sinistro e bus del canale destro).
Per disabilitare questa funzione è necessario
rimuovere il ponticello cortocircuitante inserito
sui terminali del connettore CN102 (fig. 2.1).
NOTA
La linea di muting entrante viene riportata,
indipendentemente dalla presenza o meno del
ponticello sopracitato, al terminale ‘ MUTE OUT ’
del connettore multivia ed inviata al modulo
immediatamente successivo (linea di muting
uscente).
3.2 Muting via the muting line
When a condition of precedence is detected on
the appropriate terminal ( MUTE IN ) of the
multi-way connector of the module, the signals
sent to the stereo mixing bus (bus of the left
channel and bus of the right channel) are muted
(default setting).
To disable this function, it is necessary to remove
the short-circuiting jumper inserted on
connector CN102 terminals (Figure 2.1).
NOTE
Regardless of the presence or otherwise of the
jumper referred to above, the incoming muting
line is led to the ‘ MUTE OUT ’ terminal of the
multi-way connector and sent to the next module
along (outgoing muting line).
4. INSTALLAZIONE
Il modulo doppio ingresso deve essere installato
nel cestello PMS2002-B seguendo le istruzioni
di montaggio allegate a quest'ultimo.
Si rammenta che la sua posizione, rispetto agli
altri moduli d'ingresso installati nel sistema, ha
influenza sui livelli di priorità.
Più precisamente: affinché i segnali delle
sorgenti musicali possano essere ammutoliti dai
moduli “doppio ingresso” (o da moduli che
dispongano degli appositi contatti per
l'attivazione della condizione di precedenza), il
modulo ingresso ausiliari deve essere installato
alla destra di questi ultimi; in linea generale, un
modulo doppio ingresso non può ammutolire i
segnali dei moduli installati alla sua sinistra.
NOTA
Affinché possano essere ammutoliti anche i
segnali applicati al bus stereofonico, il ponticello
cortocircuitante deve essere lasciato inserito sui
terminali del connettore CN102 (vedi par. 3.2).
4. INSTALLATION
The double-input module has to be installed in
the PMS2002-B card cage following the
mounting instructions supplied with the card
cage. It must be remembered that its position in
respect of the other input modules installed in
the system affects the priority levels.
Specifically, in order to enable the signals of the
music sources to be muted by the “double-input
modules” (or by modules that have the
appropriate contacts for activating the
precedence conditions), the auxiliary input
module must be installed to the right of these
modules. Generally speaking, a double-input
module cannot mute the signals of the modules
installed to its left.
NOTE
In order to be able to mute the signals applied
to the stereo bus as well, the short-circuiting
jumper must be left installed on the terminals of
connector CN102 (see point 3.2).

5. CONEXIONES
5.1 Tomas de entrada
Todas las entradas son de tipo no balanceado,
las conexiones a estas tomas se indican en la
fig. 5.1.1. Es preciso aplicar las fuentes a las
distintas entradas según su nivel de salida.
Para una asignación correcta de las entradas
hacer referencia a los valores de sensibilidad
indicados en la sección ‘ Características técnicas’.
5. AANSLUITINGEN
5.1 Ingangen
Alle ingangen zijn ongebalanceerd, de
aansluitingen op deze chassisdelen zijn te zien
op afb. 5.1.1. De bronnen moeten op de
verschillende ingangen worden aangesloten op
basis van hun uitgangsniveau. Voor een correcte
toekenning van de ingangen raadpleegt u de
gevoeligheidswaarden die vermeld zijn in de
paragraaf ‘
Technische kenmerken’.
5.2 Tomas salida directa
Las dos tomas Phono ‘ OUT ’ [ 10 ], cuyo esquema
de conexión está mostrado en la fig. 5.1.1,
presentan en salida la señal correspondiente
a la entrada seleccionada. Por configuración
de fábrica, la señal presente en la salida ‘OUT’
es estereofónica y no está controlada por el
mando del volumen: en la señal estereofónica,
habilitada con el selector ‘MONO/STEREO’ [ 4 ]
en la posición ‘STEREO’, repercute el selector
‘REVERSE’ pero no el control de nivel ‘LEVEL’
[ 1 ]. Si al contrario se desea tener una señal
monofónica controlada por el mando del
volumen, será necesario quitar los puentes
de los conectores CN106 y CN107 y ponerlos
en los conectores CN103 y CN104 (fig. 2.1 y
5.2.1).
5.2 Directe uitgangen
De twee phono- uitgangen ‘ OUT ’ [ 10 ], waarvan
het aansluitschema is weergegeven op afb.
5.1.1, geven aan de uitgang het signaal van de
geselecteerde ingang door.Volgens de
fabrieksinstelling is het signaal dat aanwezig is
op de uitgang ‘OUT’ stereofonisch en niet
volumegeregeld: het stereofonische signaal,
geactiveerd met de keuzeschakelaar ‘MONO/
STEREO’ [4] in de stand ‘STEREO’, wordt
beïnvloed door de keuzeschakelaar ‘REVERSE’
maar niet door de volumeregelaar ‘LEVEL’ [1].
Indien u daarentegen een monofonisch
volumegeregeld signaal wilt, is het noodzakelijk
de jumpers van de connectors CN106 en CN107
te verwijderen in in de connectors CN103 en
CN104 te steken (afb. 2.1 en 5.2.1).
