3. Insert the desired fi lter if it is not pre-
mounted:
- Foam fi lter for wet suction (
15),
- Textile fi lter bag (
16) for dry
suction,
- Paper fi lter bag (
17).
Never perform vacuuming with-
out a fi lter!
4. After changing fi lter: Place the motor
head (1) onto the dirt container (6) and
lock it into place using the fastening
clips (8).
5. Attach the suction hose (13) and acces-
sories.
Operation
Switching on and off
Preparation
1. Fully unwind the suction hose (13) be-
fore commencing work.
2. Prepare the appliance for the desired
function.
3. Insert the mains plug of the appliance
into a wall socket.
Switching on
1. Move the on/off switch (3) into posi-
tion “I”.
Switching off
1. Move the on/off switch (3) into posi-
tion “O”.
2. Pull the appliance’s mains plug out of
the wall socket if you are leaving the
appliance unattended or if you have
fi nished working.
Inserting the nozzles
Floor nozzle (18) with insert attach-
ment (19):
For wet and dry vacuuming of smooth sur-
faces and carpeted fl oors.
NOTE! Risk of damage! Be aware that sen-
sitive surfaces may be scratched if working
without the insert attachment.
Floor nozzle (18) without insert at-
tachment (19):
For wet and dry vacuuming of carpeted
fl oors, for removing stubborn dirt.
Removing the insert attachment
Push the tabs on the right and left of the
fl oor nozzle (18) and remove the insert at-
tachment (19).
Crevice nozzle (20):
For vacuuming joints, corners and radia-
tors.
Wet suctioning
1. Place the foam fi lter (15) onto the fi lter
basket (21) on the motor head (1).
To prevent the foam fi lter from tearing:
- Only insert a dry fi lter;
- Before inserting, twist the edge
of the fi lter slightly and then roll it
back.

WARNING!
Electric shock! Never
reach into the water to be suctioned
up.
NOTE! Risk of damage! Turn off the
appliance immediately if foam or liquid
leaks out.
Suctioning up (draining):
place
the suction hose (13) on the handgrip
section (14) into the water tank and
suction up the water.
NOTE! If the dirt container is full, a
fl oat closes the suction opening and the
suctioning process is stopped. Switch
the appliance off and empty the dirt
container.
