4. Release the chuck (21).
Attaching and removing the
slide shoe
When working on scratch-sensitive workpieces,
working with the slide shoe (10) is recommen-
ded.
Assembling the slide shoe (Fig. A)
1. Place the slide shoe (10) on the front of the
footplate (13).
2. Press the notches (9) on the back of the
slide shoe over the footplate (13).
Disassembling the slide shoe (Fig. A)
1. Press the slide shoe (10) on the notches (9)
away from the footplate (13).
2. Pull the slide shoe (10) forward, away from
the footplate (13) and off.
Attaching and removing the
rip fence
The rip fence can be fitted on both sides of the
device.
Mounting the rip fence (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19) if neces-
sary.
2. Slide the rip fence (12) into the holders for
the rip fence (18).
3. Retighten the retaining screws (19).
Removing the rip fence (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19).
2. Pull the rip fence (12) out of the holders for
the rip fence (18).
Adjusting the parallel guide (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19).
2. Set the scale on the parallel guide (12) so
that you can read the desired cutting width
on the splinter guard (23) marking.
3. Retighten the retaining screws (19).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting width and
correct the position of the parallel guide
(12) if necessary.
Bevel cuts
Notes
• You can set the following cutting angles:
−45°; −22.5°; 0°; 15°; 30°; 45°
• To set a cutting angle of 45°, remove the
protective cover (20) and the tension tear
protection (23).

Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Switch off the device and remove the re-
chargeable battery. Make sure that all mov-
ing parts have come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the saw blade (16/17).
3. Remove the suction connector (8, Fig. E).
You can install the suction connector again
after making the setting.
4. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (11)
with the Allen key (3).
5. Set the footplate (13) to the desired posi-
tion.
6. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (11)
with the Allen key (3).
External dust extraction
Connecting external dust extraction
(Fig. E)
1. Slide the suction connector (8) as far as
it will go into the guide rail between the
device and footplate (13).
2. Connect a suitable dust extraction (not in-
cluded) to the suction connector (8).
3. If the external dust extractor does not fit,
use the additional reducer (7).
Removing the external dust extrac-
tion (Fig. E)
1. Remove the dust extraction from the suction
connector (8) or reducer (7).
2. Remove the reducer (7) and the suction
connector (8).

protective cover
Attaching the protective cover
1. Press the two holders on the protective cov-
er (20) into the recesses on the device hous-
ing.
