Vacuuming with the paper filter
bag:
To avoid the fluted filter becoming
clogged, we recommend the addi-
tional use of the brown paper filter
bag.
1. Fit the fluted filter (23).
2. Fold the side flaps on the paper filter
bag (24) down on the perforation.
3. Completely unfold the paper filter bag
(24) and pull it over the internal suc-
tion nozzle (8) in the stainless steel
container (9). The connector on the
suction nozzle must be completely en-
closed by the sealing ring on the filter
bag opening.
A fine dirt filter bag made of micro
filter fleece is also optionally avail-
able, which can be used in place
of the included paper filter bag (see
“Spare parts/Accessories”).
Vacuuming with the dry filter
(fabric filter bag, optionally
available):
The anti-tear fabric filter bag, which is
optionally available (see “Spare parts/Ac-
cessories”), is suitable for vacuuming large
dirt particles.
1. Place the foam filter (
21) on the filter
basket (
27) (see “Wet Vacuuming”).
2. Pull the fabric filter bag over the filter
basket.
Vacuuming fine dust:
Specific suction processes (e.g. grinding
of paints and lacquers, milling or drilling
walls, grinding or drilling hard wood) can
pose a risk from hazardous dust.
We recommend using the following option-
al filter combination, which is available,
for fine dust (see “Spare parts/Accesso-
ries”):
1. Fluted filter (23).
2. Fine dust filter bag made of fleece
(optionally available see “Replacement
parts/Accessories”), which is used in
stead of the paper filter bag (24) in-
cluded in the scope of delivery.
Wet vacuuming
1. For wet vacuuming or to vacuum wa-
ter, fit the foam filter (21) to the filter
basket (27) on the motor head (3).
To avoid tearing the foam filter (21):
- Use only a dry filter;
- Before inserting, twist the edge of
the filter slightly and then roll it back.
2. Suctioning up (draining) water: place
the suction hose (
19) on the handle
(
20) into the water tank and suc-
tion up the water.
3. Empty the stainless steel container
immediately after suction cleaning be-
cause it is not designed to store liquids
(see „Cleaning/Maintenance“).
Never reach into the water to
be suctioned up. Danger of
electric shock.
When the container (
9) is full, the
suction opening is shut off by a float,
and suction is then cut off. Switch the
appliance off, remove the plug from
the socket and empty the container
(see “Cleaning/Maintenance”).
