14. Disposal and recycling
The unit is supplied in packaging to prevent its being dam-
aged in transit. This packaging is raw material and can there-
fore be reused or can be returned to the raw material system.
The unit and its accessories are made of various types of mate-
rial, such as metal and plastic. Defective components must be
disposed of as special waste. Ask your dealer or your local
council!
The packaging is wholly composed of environmental-
ly- friendly materials that can be disposed of at a local
recycling centre.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more
details of how to dispose of your worn out electrical
devices.
Old devices must not be disposed of with household
waste!
12. Storage
Store the Multi-Purpose Air Tool without any tool inserts
(7-11) in it in a well oiled condition, standing or suspended
vertically with the striking mechanism downwards.
Note
• When not in use store the Multi-Purpose Air Tool in a dry,
well ventilated and frost-free (10-25 °C) place outside
the reach of children, e.g. on top of a high cupboard or
under lock and key.
• If possible, store the Multi-Purpose Air Tool, the Operat-
ing Manual and any accessories all together in the origi-
nal packaging. In this way you will have all information
and parts readily to hand.

Fertiliser and other garden chemicals contain substanc-
es that can have a severely corrosive effect on the metal
parts. Do not store the device in the vicinity of these sub-
stances..
13. Transport
Remove the tool insert you were using from the Multi-Purpose
Air Tool after work and before every time you transport the
tool. This minimises the risk of injury.
Secure the Multi-Purpose Air Tool firmly against any move-
ment when transporting it in or on a vehicle (danger of
tipping or sliding).
