Correct handling of
the charger
a) This device can be
used by children aged
8 years and up as well
as individuals with
reduced physical, sen
-
sory or mental abilities
or a lack of experience
and knowledge if
they are supervised or
have been instructed
in the safe use of the
device and understand
the resulting hazards.
Children must never
play with the device.
Cleaning and user
maintenance must
not be carried out by
children if they are not
supervised.
b) Before each use, check
the charger, cable and
plug, and have repairs
carried out by qualified
personnel using only
original spare parts.
Do not use the charger
if defective and do not
open it yourself. This
ensures the safety of the
device is maintained.
c) Make sure that the
mains voltage matches
the details on the char-
ger’s type plate. Risk of
electric shock.
d) Disconnect the charger
from the mains sup-
ply before closing or
opening connections to
the power tool. This en-
sures the rechargeable
battery and charger
are not damaged.
e) Keep the charger
clean and away from
moisture and rain.
Never use the charger
outdoors. Soiling and
penetration of water
increase the risk of
electric shock.
f) The charger may only
be used with the cor-
responding original
rechargeable batteries.
Charging other batter-
ies can lead to injuries
and the risk of fire.
