Replacing the cutting blade

CAUTION!
When the saw blade
[ 25]
is to be removed from or
inserted to the blade guard, do not touch the sharp cutting edge .
To avoid injury, wearing suitable protective gloves is required .
NOTE:
Before carrying out any work on the product, ensure
that the rotation direction switch
[ 5]
is in the middle position . This
prevents unintentional switching on .
Install the cutting attachment
[ 19]
to the product .
This prevents the spindle
[ 26]
from rotating and allows the
screw
[ 24]
to be removed .
Loosen the screw
[ 24]
in a counter‑clockwise direction by using a
PH2 or SL6 screwdriver (not included) .
Remove the screw
[ 24]
from the spindle
[ 26]
.
Hold the product in an upright position . Swing it gently and
allow the cutting blade
[ 25]
to slide out slowly from the blade
guard (Fig . M) .
Insert a new cutting blade
[ 25]
into the cutting attachment
[ 19]
(Fig . N) .
Ensure the cutting blade
[ 25]
is sitting tight in the slot of the
spindle
[ 26]
(Fig . L) .
Tighten the screw
[ 24]
in a clockwise direction .
The attachment is ready for use again .
