Setting the impact force
NOTE
►
Select the lowest impact force sufficient for
stapling. Take into account the length of the
staples or nails you are using as well as hard-
ness of the material you are working with.
Increasing the impact force
♦
Turn the impact force control clockwise.
Reducing the impact force
♦
Turn the impact force control anticlockwise.
NOTE
►
Ensure the correct position for the nails (see
main diagram, face plate on the tool).
♦
After filling, push the release into the maga-
zine shaft as far as the stop until it clicks into
place.
NOTE
►
The fill level indicator shows whether the
magazine contains staples.
Use
Switching on
♦
Press the stapler nose onto the part of the
material that you want to staple until it is pushed
in a few millimetres.
♦
Press the trigger .
Troubleshooting
Cause
A staple is blocking the tool.
Solution
♦
Remove the battery pack from the tool.
♦
Turn the tool over.
♦
Press in the releases (see fig. A).
♦
Pull the magazine slider backwards. This will
release the tension.
♦
Remove the staple.
WARNING!
■
Do not hold the power tool by the trigger if
the staple is jammed in the power tool. While
removing a jammed staple, the trigger can
be accidentally activated.
Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always switch the tool off and
remove the battery before carrying
out any work on it.
■
The tool is maintenance-free.
■
The tool must always be kept clean, dry and
free from oil or grease.
■
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing.
■
Never permit liquids to penetrate inside the tool.
■
If a lithium-ion battery is going to be stored for
an extended period, the charge level should be
checked regularly. The optimum charge level is
between 50% and 80%. The optimum storage
environment is cool and dry.
