INSTALLATION

l

The cooker must be installed according to
the instructions supplied. The installation
work must be undertaken by a competent
person as stated in the gas safety
(Installation & Use) regulations current
edition.

l

It is important that the cooker is suitable for
your gas supply. Your installer should check
the data badge.

l

The cooker must be installed in an
adequately ventilated room.

l

This cooker is heavy and care must be taken
when moving it. Do not try to move the
cooker by pulling the door handles.

l

All packaging, both inside and outside the
cooker must be removed before the cooker
is used.

l

Do not stand on the cooker or on the open
oven doors.

l

It is dangerous to alter the specifications or
modify the cooker in any way.

CHILD SAFETY

l

This cooker is designed to be operated by
adults. Young children must not be allowed
to tamper with the controls or play near or
with the cooker.

l

The cooker and accessible parts especially
around the grill area become hot when the
cooker is in use.

DURING USE

l

Do not use this cooker if it is in contact with
water. Never operate it with wet hands.

l

Take great care when heating fats and oils
as they will ignite if they become too hot.

l

When you are lighting any burner check that
it is lit before you leave the cooker. When
turning off a burner, do not leave the cooker
until the flame has gone out.

l

Always use oven gloves to remove and place
food in the oven.

l

Ensure that the vents at the top of the oven
are not obstructed to ensure ventilation of
the oven cavity.

l

Never line any part of the cooker with
aluminium foil.

l

Do not allow heatproof cooking material, e.g.
roasting bags to come into contact with oven
elements because they may catch fire.

l

Always stand back from the cooker when
opening the oven door to allow any build up
of steam or heat to release.

l

Do not place sealed cans or aerosols inside
the oven. They may explode if they are
heated.

l

Ensure that all control knobs are in the OFF
position when not in use.

l

Do not stand on the open oven doors.

l

Do not  hang towels, dishcloths or clothes
from the cooker or its handles.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

l

Do not leave cookware containing
foodstuffs, e.g. fat or oil in the cooker in

times. A build-up of fats or other foodstuffs
could result in a fire, especially in the grill
pan.

l

Do not disconnect the cooker from the gas
supply if the supply pipe does not have
bayonet connection as described in the
