STARTING PROCEDURE

INSPECT HEDGE TRIMMER
Check the Hedge Trimmer is not damaged and all
components are in good working order before use.
Regular periodic inspection is required to ensure
the Hedge Trimmer is suitable for the task.
Before using the Hedge Trimmer a risk assessment
should be carried out respecting the legislation in
the country of use.
This Hedge Trimmer is not supplied with any oil within the engine, there is only trace left from testing.
The fuel for this machine must be mixed with 2 stroke oil at a 40:1 ratio (Petrol:Oil)
Do not start the machine without adding oil to the fuel first, this will damage the engine beyond repair.
PRE-OPERATION

Fuel is a highly flammable liquid.
Always refuel in a well ventilated area away from any heat sources.
Never fuel the machine whilst the engine is running.

FILL WITH FUEL
Fill the machine with 2 stroke oil at a 40:1
ratio (Petrol:Oil). Use the fuel mixing bottle provided.
Remove the fuel cap and fill carefully. Take care not
to spill fuel whilst filling, use a pouring spout or
funnel to help prevent spillages. Replace and
secure the cap afterwards.

PRIME ENGINE
Prime the machine by utilising the primer bubble.
Press on the primer bubble 8 - 10 times or until the
bubble is full of fuel. You may see an air bubble at
the top this is normal.
