Connecting the Turbine

TIPS

 

►

Connect the turbine in the direction indicated on the rating plate in order to 
achieve a higher level of measuring accuracy. 

 

►

Connect the turbine at a point on the hydraulic circuit which is exposed to 
as little vibration as possible so that measurement results are not falsified. 

 

►

Install a 25 micron filter in the hydraulic circuit upstream from the turbine 
to prevent impurities.

 

►

The diameters of the inlet and outlet connections should be similar to 
the diameter of the turbine connections to prevent Venturi or constriction 
effects. 

 

►

Due to the integrated flow straighteners, you can reduce the normal rec-
ommended length of the straight hose section of 10 times the hose diam-
eter to 8 times the hose diameter (d).
