nstructions for Use:
Description
Eclipse Probe Cover (Product #38-01) is 2.37/1.75”(60 mm/44 mm) wide x 9.5”
(241mm) long. Eclipse 3D Probe Cover (Product #38-03) is 3.25/1.69”
(83 mm/43 mm) wide x 9.5” (241 mm) long. The probe covers are pre-filled
inside with Aquasonic
®
100 Ultrasound Transmission Gel. Eclipse Probe
Covers are non-irritating, non-sensitizing and are not made with natural
rubber latex.
Indications for Use
Eclipse Probe Covers are disposable probe covers for use with medical
ultrasound probes/transducers.
Contraindications
• This product is non-sterile and not intended to be sterilized.
Precautions
• Discard product if package is damaged or evidence of contamination
is present.
Directions for Use
1) Hold the inner white tab while inserting a clean, dry probe/transducer head
into the pre-gelled Eclipse Probe Cover. Gently slide probe until the head
reaches the tip of the probe cover.
2) Hold the top printed blue tab and gently pull towards you to release the
protective outer packaging.
3) Smooth the Eclipse Probe Cover over the probe/transducer head to
eliminate air bubbles and cover the probe lens with gel. If air bubbles remain
in lens area, gently smooth them with your thumb. The probe/transducer is
now protected and ready for normal use.
4) The prepared probe should be used immediately to prevent the possibility
of contamination.

Protect product from direct sunlight.
Disposal
Follow all federal, state, and local regulations for non-hazardous
waste disposal.
